What is up with so many women being so attracted to men who are total anuses?

It seems like the worse a man is, in the worst ways possible, the more chicks want them: physically abusive, substance abuse, alcoholism, criminal history, cheaters, liars, and the list of sins goes on and on.

Don’t any women want geniune nice men anymore? If so, I’d sure like to know WHERE to find them. As the old saying goes, “All the good ones (women) are taken,” seems to be true. I can’t even find good women at churches!

The other night, one of my best friends had a date with Cuervo… She wound up bawling her eyes out, telling me how sad she was about everything. I have known her for years and have never see her like this! I used to do the same thing, but instead I tended a little more aggressive.

I heard these kinds of behavior are signs that you’re really depressed, and hiding it. I have heard so many people say that your true, inner-self cannot be masked when you’re hammered. They say that for people who are depressed, and hiding how they feel inside to other people and/or denying something to themselves….it can be unleashed by alcohol, (or other drugs) I also heard these are common symptoms from people who have family members w/ alcoholism.

what helps alcohol withdrawal?

i drink about 5 beers a night. i want to quit cold turkey. i have before. it was nothing more than sweating at night and a little trouble sleeping. i want to know what will help me get a good nights sleep if i don’t drink at all tonight.
do some people have nothing else better to do than sit on yahoo answers and try to get people to laugh at their lame jokes? i don’t have cash for a doctor by the way.

like how natives are just pushed to the side in health care, drug treatments and the likes. most natives who are charged with crimes as they call them like alcohol abuse, drug abuse, and homelessness. they really don’t try to get the natives in treatment they just let them go home where they will more than likely turn back to the vises that are plaguing the native community. just want to know your native thoughts on such a dire situation.

Will she go to juvy?!?

My sister is sixteen years old and is currently “in the system.” She was arrested around sepetember of 2008. She had charges of domestic violence, destruction of property, and ID theft ( she did not steal someone’s identity…a debit card was in the wallet, although, just as bad.) She had to go through the Juvenile court system because the ID theft was a felony. Her case was DISMISSED on March 6, 2009. She was not on probation or anything. On the night of March 6, she was arrested for falsification (lying to a police officer), underage consumption of alcohol, and cigarettes. My family & i are very concerned as to what may happen to her. Would it be probation, community service, house arrest? Or even juvenile detention center? Help!

I would like to add that she is, besides all this, a generally good kid. She has a great positive attitude with straight a’s and is also involved in a lot of extracurriculars ( she is an outstanding athlete). She also goes to an alcohol and drug abuse outpatient rehab as it is, would this help her out any?

If not God, what causes religion?

If religion is the cause of much violence and evil in the world, and man created God/religion – _why_ did man create it?

What is the need that God/religion fills? If you believe that it’s all religion’s fault, wouldn’t it make more sense to treat the need?

If you think religion is an addiction, like alcoholism, do you understand that removing the alcohol doesn’t treat the addiction. The addiction is there because of an unmet need.

It’s definitely sad that there seem to be so many here who believe it’s ok to get “wasted”, “trashed” or whatever other cute names for losing control of consumption or who believe it is MANDATORY to use so much that you can’t remember ( called blackout-one of the symptoms of alcohol abuse or alcoholism ) what you did, or even to feel the “need” to get high, drunk, etc.Personally i have found a much better way to experience a “high” that no other method or sense could provide me, and it includes nothing more thanbreathing and focus.
And for those who think i’m judging get a life. i’m just askin from what i have observed over a 1 yr period.
