Health effects of alcoholism.?

I’m 24 and have been drinking about a 12 pack almost every night since I was 21.And I also partied a lot in high school.I know that I’m at risk for a lot of serious health problems in the future if I don’t slow down or quit, but I can’t find any sites that give me a vague statistical time-line.For instance; said amount of alcohol consumption can cause symptom A in 3 yrs., symptom B in 5,C in 10,Then disease A usually occurs followed by…..And also what damage may be done already and if it is reversible. Please don’t say “just quit”.It’s easier said than done and If I do or don’t I’d like to know what to expect either way.Any personal experiences and/or links are welcome.

It did me – I left a while a go nearly 12 years ago now- I’m 27. I was in boarding school from the age of 8 to 16- 2 different school. First school we weren’t allowed home weekends, second one we where if we wanted.

Anyway, after I left, I couldn’t cope with the actual freedom of being free nor with the freedom of choice – just being able to do what I wanted, when I wanted, like go for a pi$$, without having to ask permission all the f****** time. For months after I left, I found myself asking my own mother if I could go for a wee. In our own house.
